On September 5, 2014 at 10:19 a.m., a City of Guelph by-law officer attempted to issue a ticket to a male on Wyndham Street. The male punched the officer, knocking him to the ground and left the area. Police located the man nearby and he was arrested. The officer received a cut to his lip.
Tyler Watt, 22 years of Guelph has been charged with assault cause bodily harm and breach probation. He will appear in court on September 23, 2014.
