The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a mischief complaint in Chatham last night.
Shortly after 7:00 p.m. a concerned citizen contacted police to report that a man had just walked by and smashed the glass in the front door of an apartment building on Thames Street. Officers were given the man’s physical descriptors.
Just before 8:00 p.m. officers located the man on William Street North and he was arrested.
Joshua VanKesteren, 22 years, of Sheldon Avenue in Chatham has been charged with mischief under $5000. He has been released with conditions pending a future court date.
