On Sunday September 14, 2014 at approximately 6pm a Honda S2000 motor vehicle lost control eastbound on Beke Rd in North Dumfries Township. The vehicle left the roadway and went down a ditch into a shallow pool of water. The vehicle was upside down, and rescuers were unable to free the driver without mechanical assistance. The driver was a 56 year old Cambridge man who succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Police continue to investigate.
