8 Sep 2014,

1:14 pm police responded to the theft of a purse from a vehicle at the Walmart parking lot. The purse was in the cart while loading groceries and may have been left in the cart.

9 Sep 2014,

12:03 pm police responded to the Stow It storage to a report of the theft of two televisions from a unit. The unit had a lock on it but the door may not have locked all the way down. No suspects.

23:05 pm police responded to a motor vehicle collision on 18/19 Side Road. An area resident heard a crash and called police. A vehicle was travelling north on 18/19 Side Road and lost control and left the roadway striking the embankment.

10 Sep 2014,

12:51 pm a theft of a bicycle was reported to police. Over the weekend a person rode his bicycle to a barbecue in the Bruce and Elgin St area and left it unlocked. The bicycle was stolen.

11 Sep 2014,

9:17 am police arrested a 19 year old Saugeen Shores female for breaching conditions of a previous release on an earlier arrest. She was held for a bail hearing.

12 Sep 2014,

10:42 pm police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the Port Elgin beach parking lot. A 19 year old Saugeen Shores male was doing doughnuts in the parking lot and struck a portion of the fence. The male was warned of potential criminal charges for his actions.

13 Sep 2014,

3:28 pm police responded to a mischief complaint at the washrooms and phone booth at Front and Saugeen St. Southampton. A mirror in the women’s washroom was broken and a window in the phone booth was broken. No suspects.
