(TOWN OF SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On September 14th, 2014 at 12:58a.m, police responded to an address on Oliphant Way, Town of South Bruce Peninsula, on report that a motor vehicle had crashed into a fence then fled scene.
Police investigated and located the vehicle a short distance away from the crash. It was determined that the driver, Jason HOFFELE, 40, of Fergus, ON, ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Jason HOFFELE was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, driving while over the legal limit and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody and provided a first appearance date of September 25th, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.
