On September 18, 2014 at 10:05am police received a call from an anonymous complainant who witnessed 2 males between 17 and 20 years of age near the bus stop at Groh Ave and Holiday Inn Dr in the city of Cambridge with what was believed to be a hand gun. The one male was observed walking on Groh Ave towards Jacob Hespeler High School. As a precaution police attended Jacob Hespeler and conducted a search of the school. After a thorough investigation it was determined that the male had not entered the school. Both males were later identified and it was determined that the suspected fire arm was an airsoft gun. No charges were laid.
