The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a fail to remain motor vehicle collision in Tilbury.
Yesterday morning at approximately 9:30 a.m., a woman driving a newer white vehicle turned south onto Louise Street from Mill Street. At this time, she side-swiped a blue Chev Lumina stopped at a stop sign on Louise Street. The white vehicle left transfer paint down the entire driver’s side of the Lumina. The woman did not stop. She was last seen travelling on Louise Street then southbound on Queen Street. The Lumina sustained about $1000 damage.
The woman is described as white and between 40-50 years of age. Her vehicle will have front end and driver’s side damage.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in either identifying the woman or the vehicle. Police would also like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable David Bakker at [email protected]
