The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with his release conditions.
On September 11, 2014 the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of the conditions stated that he was to abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with a specific woman. Another condition stated that he was not to be within 100m of the woman’s residence or place of employment. The man was further bound by a daily curfew of 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
On September 20, 2014, the man attended the woman’s place of employment. Police were notified yesterday of the incident and the man was arrested last night.
The 23-year-old Dover Township man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
