On the 28th of September 2014 at about 6:30 p.m. Chatham-Kent Police responded to an address in Wallaceburg after a woman fled her home with her child after being assaulted. The victim did not require medical assistance. As a result of the investigation, a 23 year old man from Wallaceburg was charged with three counts of Assault (CC Sec. 266) and three counts of Mischief under $5000 (CC Sec. 430(4)) and held for a bail hearing.
