At around 9:30 p.m. on September 29, 2014, a suspicious vehicle was observed in the area of Chalmers Forrest Rd and Buehler Line, Wellesley Twp. An older model red Ford pickup truck with a long bed, was seen exiting a corn field, and it is possible that the driver pointed a firearm at a witness. Police checked the area but the pickup truck could not be located. At this time of year, there is a greater potential for the illegal harvesting of Marihuana plants in corn fields. Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying suspicious persons and vehicles, especially in and around rural roads.
