At approximately 12:45am, police were dealing with a male who was creating a disturbance in Southampton. The male, age 31 from Southampton, had warrants for his arrest from London Police Service. The male was arrested and turned over to the London Police Service.

At 9:00am an officer on patrol on Goderich Street in Port Elgin investigated a motor vehicle which had a faded validation sticker. The validation was found to have expired in August and the driver was charged with that offence. Additionally, the driver was charged with not having insurance, contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
At 9:43am, police attended a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bruce Road 17 and Bruce Road 3 in Burgoyne. A vehicle which was eastbound on Bruce Road 17, stopped for the stop sign but then failed to yield to a vehicle that was southbound on Bruce Road 3. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. There were no injuries. A driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Fail to Yield.
Police received a report of a break, enter and theft that occurred in Southampton between 7pm on September 21st and 10am on September 22nd. The break and enter occurred in the area of Adelaide and Knowles Lane. A shed was entered and a quantity of alcohol was stolen. The cottage on the property was also entered and more alcohol, a DVD player and a 30†bayonet were stolen.
At 1:30pm, police attended a vehicle versus bicycle accident on Goderich Street in Port Elgin. A northbound vehicle attempted to turn right into a parking lot and struck a cyclist who was also northbound but was riding on the sidewalk. The cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries and subsequently released.
After receiving information from a parent, police investigated two young persons for possession of stolen property. The investigation revealed that the youths had stolen various items from Port Elgin businesses between May and September. Some of the items were recovered. A 15 year old from Southampton and a 17 year old from Port Elgin have been charged Theft and Possession of Stolen Property.

Police received a number of theft reports in regards to thefts from vehicle that occurred overnight in Southampton. Various items including a wallet, a computer, cash, power tools and fishing equipment were stolen from the areas of Alice, Peel and Grey Streets.
