(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Thursday morning September 25, 2014, members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Road 177 north of Molesworth.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police revealed an indoor cannabis marihuana production location. Police seized numerous cannabis marihuana plants at various stages of growth worth an estimated value of $97,800. Also seized were offence related property consisting of production equipment.
As a result of this investigation three Municipality of North Perth residents have been charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences;
– Produce a substance included in Schedule II, Cannabis Marihuana
– Possess Cannabis Marihuana under 3 Kilograms
– Possess Cannabis Resin under 1 gram
Peter HIBBERD (61) is in custody and will be appearing for a court appearance on October 09, 2014.
Carl GUERIN (63) is in custody and will be appearing for a court appearance of October 10, 2014.
Christine PERRY-FREEBOURGH (60) is to appear in court on October 22, 2014 to answer to these charges.
