Yesterday afternoon at approx. 6:30 p.m a Chatham-Kent officer was at an address on Pine Street in Chatham investigating an unrelated matter. The officer, while investigating another matter noticed a suspicious person riding a bike. The officer had recognized him from previous dealings and knew he had conditions placed on him from a previous release from custody. The 32 year old Chatham man was arrested for Breaching his release conditions. When the officer searched the man he located a stolen Samsung Galaxy 8.0 Tablet, the back cover number had been scratched off, in attempts to hide the product. The tablet was seized and the he is also charged with possession of stolen property.
