(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is on scene of a serious collision. A cyclist has died following a two vehicle crash that occurred on October 7, 2011 at approximately 7:10 p.m. The cyclist was traveling westbound on Mill Road between Division Line and Hannah Line when he was struck from behind by a westbound Pontiac car. The cyclist was transported to Clinton Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car was not injured in the crash.
Mill Road will remain closed between Division Line and Hannah Line while OPP Technical Collision Investigators piece together the evidence. Victim Services of Huron County attended at the scene and with family for support.
The identity of the victim will be released pending notification of next of kin. LP11284887
