At last night’s action-packed COW meeting, Bernie Bailey humbly apologized to Pat Newson for some of the comments he made in his famous speech. Mr. Bailey did state he is still going to continue his quest of trying to save taxpayers money.
Bernie Bailey’s apology shows that at least one councillor is serious about restoring accountability to North Huron. This public apology must have been a bitter pill for Bailey to swallow, but shows he does have the courage and maturity to be on Council.
WFP still hopes that NH Council will yield to the overwhelming public opinion and save our trailer park and apologize for freezing the public out of the decision making process.
