The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for being in possession of illegal drugs.
Yesterday afternoon, an officer on general patrol observed a man known to him riding an e-bike on Grand Avenue East in Chatham. As the officer approached the man, he threw away two baggies containing methamphetamine and cocaine.
Matthew Humphrey, 28 years, of Grant Street in Chatham was arrested and charged with two counts of drug possession. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
