Retired Reverend Charged with Additional Sex Related Offences

The Chatham-Kent Police Service continues to investigate a retired reverend for historical sexual offences involving school aged male children. Through further investigation, a third adult male has come forward with allegations.

Harry BRYDON, 65 years, of Harrow has been arrested and charged with an additional two counts of administering a noxious substance, one count of sexual assault dating back to 1985 and failing to attend court. BRYDON made a court appearance on October 10, 2014 and was remanded into custody until today at 10:00 a.m.

BRYDON was employed as a reverend at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 18 Dolsen Road in Chatham between 1984 and 1988 where the victims and their families were members of the congregation.
