(BRANT TWP, ON) – On October 10th, 2011 at 10:16 am, a member of the OPP West Region Highway Safety team was on patrol along County Road 10, Brant Twp when a Black Suzuki GX6 motorcycle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle speed was locked on radar at 140 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
23 year old Andrew DONALDSON of Elmwood has been charged with Race a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on November 15th, 2011 to answer to the charge. Pursuant to the racing legislation, a 7 day vehicle impoundment and a 7 day licence suspension were issued.
