(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Sunday October 09, 2011 shortly before 10 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer was conducting patrol on Perth Road 130 just south of Sebringville. The officer observed a fast moving sedan and immediately activated the police radar. The sedan’s speed registered 139 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The 24 year old female driver from the Township of Perth East explained that she was late for church. She was charged with “racing†and will have to appear in Stratford Court on November 08, 2011 to answer to this charge. She was issued a 7 day drivers licence suspension and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
