(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On October 25, 2014 at approximately 10:17 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a 2001 Saturn resting in a ditch on School Road 7, Town of Minto.
Officers spoke with the female driver and believed her to be under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and transported to an OPP Operations Centre.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Bonnie MOWERS age 52 from Hanover has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 21, 2014 to answer to the charges.
