Pedestrian struck

On October 28, 2014 at 1:25 p.m., the Guelph Police Service went to a collision at Edinburgh Road North and London Road. It is alleged that an 84-year-old Guelph man driving a Dodge Journey turned left onto Edinburgh from London Road striking a pedestrian. The 66-year-old Guelph female pedestrian had been crossing Edinburgh on a green light. She was taken to Guelph General Hospital with minor injuries. The driver was charged with fail to yield to pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
