(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at approximately 7:43 p.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a vehicle for failing to stop at a posted stop sign at an the intersection of Grey Road 25 and Bruce Road 10, Scone, in the Township of Chatsworth.
The lone male driver was arrested after he exhibited signs of impairment by drug. He was transported to an OPP Detachment where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert Officer who determined that the driver was impaired by drug.
Justin David GROVE, 22, of Hanover, was charged with the criminal offence of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug and possession of marihuana – under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, November 27, 2014.
