On November 7, 2014 at 1:42 a.m., a marked Guelph Police cruiser was struck when a motor vehicle reversed from its parking spot on MacDonell Street. The officers who were nearby at the time dealing with an unrelated matter, spoke to the male driver and he was arrested for impaired driving. There were no reported injuries and damage to both vehicles is estimated to be approximately $3,000.
Harvinder Singh, 20 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80mg. He will appear in court on November 21, 2014.
