On November 6, 2014 at 7:28 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the area of Woodlawn Road, east of Edinburgh Road for the report of a pedestrian struck. It is alleged that the 20-year-old female pedestrian was crossing Woodlawn Road when she was struck by a car. The vehicle, driven by a 53-year-old Fergus man had been eastbound on Woodlawn. The female pedestrian received leg injuries and was taken to Guelph Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
