On the 6th of November 2014 members of the Chatham-Kent Police drug unit executed a warrant at an address on Park Avenue in Chatham. Seized items included ammunition, a quantity of marihuana, cocaine and fentanyl along with drug paraphernalia. Total value of the drugs and money seized was estimated at $1300.
As a result a 26 year old Chatham man was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl, possession of marihuana and possession of ammunition contrary to a court order and released with a future court date.
