(HURON COUNTY, ON) – The Huron Youth Justice Committee is offering three community awareness sessions this month on Human Trafficking to help community members gain a better understanding of what Human Trafficking is and how we can respond as a community to help support victims and families.
Members from Victim Services Huron County, Huron County Health Unit, Rural Response for Healthy Children and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have planned an informative evening of presentations that will help audience members better understand this emerging issue and deplorable crime.
Presentations are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
October 10, 2018 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at F.E. Madill Secondary School
October 17, 2018 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at South Huron Secondary School
October 24, 2018 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Goderich District Collegiate Institute
