(WALKERTON, ON) – On December 8th, 2011 at 1:00 pm, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 9, Carrick Township observed a Red Pontiac Sunfire travelling at 121 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The officer tried to stop the vehicle that continued on into Walkerton, finally stopping on Ridout Street. The driver advised the siren wasn’t heard over the loud vehicle music. The 17 year old novice driver has been charged with Speeding and Failing to stop at a stop sign.
