(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On December 31, 2011 just after 8:00 p.m. on Main Street in South Huron a Huron County OPP officer stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer noted that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A 24 hour driver’s licence suspension was issued following a reading above zero at the roadside. The novice driver was also issued a ticket for having a blood alcohol level above zero.
In addition, a 17 year old passenger was charged under the Liquor Licence Act for person under 19 years of age consuming liquor.
