(CARRICK TWP, ON) – On January 12th, 2012 at 8:22 pm, members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting R.I.D.E. at the intersection of Bruce County Road 6 and Bruce County Road 28, Carrick Township. A White GMC pickup stopped at the checkpoint and officers noted that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 46 year old James SPIELMACHER of Mildmay has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Drive with open liquor. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on February 27th, 2012 to answer to the charges.
