(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday morning March 13, 2012 a resident of Victoria St in Mitchell reported the theft of a cement deer to police.
It appears that sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday March 10th and 7 a.m. Sunday March 11th, the cement deer (fawn), which is brown in colour, was taken from the homeowner’s front yard. The deer is heavy and would most likely require two persons to carry it away.
The Perth County OPP in West Perth is requesting anyone who had a cement deer placed on their property or who knows the whereabouts of this deer to contact them at (519) 348-9700. If you have information about the persons responsible for this theft and you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
