Wingham Man Arrested For Yelling and Swearing at Police and Neighbours

At about 10:30 PM on 26 July, Wingham Police were called to a Centre Street residence regarding complaints of loud music and a man yelling and swearing in his front yard. Police attended and advised the man why they were there and the man, who appeared to be intoxicated, continued to swear at police and neighbours. Police issued a ticket under the noise bylaw and departed in hopes that the man would calm down and go inside. The man continued to yell and swear at the neighbours so police returned and arrested the man. Bradley Carther aged 51 of Wingham was charged with causing a disturbance. He is to appear in court in Wingham on 20 September to answer to the charge.
