(GODERICH, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at a shipping container at the south pier in a Goderich. A contracting company that is currently performing maintenance work at the pier had their temporary office entered sometime between 5:00 p.m. on August 7, 2012 and 7:00 a.m. on August 8, 2012.
Those responsible forced entry into the restricted access area and then pried the container door open. The thieves stole approximately $700 in property consisting of a white General Electric microwave, a pair of green Cofra safety boots, two black briefcases and some small hand tools.
