Daniel Poirier – Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On August 25, 2012 at 1:21 a.m. Huron OPP officers spotted a red Dodge Viper traveling westbound on Ontario Street in Clinton without taillights. Officers were able to stop the vehicle near Smith Street North. Upon speaking with the male driver officers noted he had been drinking alcohol. Officers also learned the driver was currently on court release conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol.

Daniel POIRIER, 27, from Central Huron has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on September 17, 2012. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
