(MOUNT FOREST, ON) – Wellington County OPP would like to take the opportunity to invite all members of the media and the public to attend a Bridge Dedication Ceremony honouring Provincial Constable Rick Hopkins.

ADDRESS: 850 Princess Street, Mount Forest, Ontario.
The bridge to be dedicated is located on Highway 6 at the south end of Mount Forest, Wellington County. Constable Hopkins was shot and killed in the line of duty in 1982 while responding to a firearms complaint in Arthur, just south of Mount Forest. Please join us in commemorating the life and sacrifice of Constable Rick Hopkins.
