(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Bracebridge OPP Detachment have charged a Muskoka Lakes Township man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On October 30, 2012 police executed a search warrant at a Muskoka Lakes Township residence. As a result of this investigation, a computer was seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
Joel MacKenzie James ARMSTRONG, aged 26 years, of Muskoka Lakes Township, Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Make Available Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The charged male will appear for a bail hearing in Bracebridge, Ontario in the Ontario Court of Justice on October 31, 2012.
The investigation is continuing.
