(HARRISTON, ON) – On Thursday November 1, 2012 County of Wellington OPP recovered a stolen motor vehicle near William Street in the Town of Harriston. The vehicle was reported stolen on October 31 2012, from an address on Line 91 Perth County.
As a result of the investigation, 2 adults and 2 Young Offenders have been charged. Travis Wand, age 18 of Palmerston has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code.
Dustin Lunz, age 19 of Palmerston has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and 2 counts of Breach of Probation, all contrary to the Criminal Code.
A 17 year old male from Palmerston has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, contrary to the Criminal Code.
A 15 year old male from Harriston has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, contrary to the Criminal Code, and Trafficking Marijuana, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). The male was at the Palmerston Detachment for an unrelated appointment when he was placed under arrest and searched, at which time the marijuana was found.
All parties were held in custody pending bail hearings.
