(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint set up at Bluewater Veterans Highway and Saltford Road identified a driver that had been drinking alcohol. At approximately 11:30 p.m. on November 10, 2012 a GMC pickup truck entered the checkpoint. A Huron OPP Officer spoke with the female driver and noted she had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a warn range reading. A 64 year old female from Goderich was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension.
