(PILKINGTON TWP, ON) – On Thursday November 15, 2012 at approximately 12:56am County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting RIDE spot checks on County 7 at the 2nd Line of Pilkington Twp. At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2005 Pontiac that came upon the checkpoint. During the investigation police located a small quantity of marihuana. The driver was also unable to provide proof of valid insurance for the vehicle.
Timothy Jolly aged 49 of South Bruce as been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Drive Motor Vehicle – No Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on December 18, 2012 to answer to the charges.
