On Monday November 19, 2012 at 11:25 a.m., Guelph Police responded to an assault complaint at a rooming house on Gordon Street South, Guelph. Investigation revealed that a male and his housemate began to argue over garbage left in the microwave. The argument turned physical, and the accused punched the 26-year-old victim in the face causing a significant laceration to his upper lip. The Guelph Police were called, and the accused was arrested without incident.
A 24-year-old Guelph male was charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm and Breach Probation. He was held for a Bail Hearing.
