(KINCARDINE, ON) – On November 16, 2012 at 6:44 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a disturbance at the Hiway Variety store on Queen Street in Kincardine. Officers arrived to find that a male had entered the store, stolen some items, and then proceeded to throw items around when confronted by the clerk. When police arrived, the male began struggling with and shoving the responding officers. 23 year old Phillip DIETRICH of Paris was charged with Resist peace officer, Mischief under $5,000and Theft under $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 17, 2012 to answer to the charges.
