(GUELPH/ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – On Saturday December 1, 2012 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers along with members of the Guelph City Police Service teamed up to conduct a joint force R.I.D.E. spot check on Highway 6 south of Marden Road (just north of Woodlawn Road, in Guelph). The R.I.D.E. took place between 8:00 pm and 1:00 am.
Over 2400 vehicles were checked.
2 – Liquor Licence charges were laid.
2 – No Insurance charges were laid – and vehicles towed.
10 – Highway Traffic Act charges were laid.
24 – Road Side Breath tests (drivers whom consumed alcohol but breath samples resulted in less 50 mgs).
