TEACHING ASSISTANT CHARGED WITH SEXUAL EXPLOITATION
(SEAFORTH, ON) – Members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to an allegation of sexual assault dating back to 1998-1999. Allegations involved a teaching assistant with the Avon Maitland District School Board, engaging in sexual activity with a student outside of school hours.
Members of the Huron County OPP Crime Unit have arrested and charged 38-year-old Gilbert James PINKNEY from Waverley Drive in Guelph Ontario with one count of Sexual Exploitation contrary to Section 153(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused is scheduled to appear in Goderich Provincial Court this morning.
