HIT AND RUN
On December 9, 2012 at 6pm, Guelph Police went to the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North for a report of a hit and run collision. Investigation revealed a green Honda was stopped at a red light at Stevenson Street when it was struck from behind by a silver car. The silver car then drove over the center median and continued driving north onto Stevenson, failing to stop at the scene of the collision.
The green Honda received damages to the rear driver side corner estimated at $3500. The driver of the Honda did not receive any injuries as a result of the collision.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver hatchback, possibly similar to a Toyota Echo, and will have extensive damage to its’ right front corner. It is unknown if the driver of the silver vehicle sustained any injuries as a result of the collision.
