(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On Friday, December 7, 2012, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a Festive Ride Traffic Initiative at the intersection of Bryant St. and Sauble Falls Parkway, Town of South Bruce Peninsula. One of the drivers failed a road side breath test and was taken to the Wiarton OPP detachment for further breath tests, which concluded the driver had consumed over 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.
Michael D MOORE, 44 years old from South Bruce Peninsula, was charged with over 80 and is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound court on February 7, 2013.
The Bruce Peninsula OPP wants to remind motorists that Drinking and Driving is a Criminal Offence with serious consequences. Remember to choose your RIDE carefully this Festive Season.
