(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 14, 2012 at about 1:30am, a County of Wellington OPP officer initiated a traffic stop on Wellington Road 7 near Wellington Road 51, Centre Wellington Township. While the officer spoke to the male driver of the 2005 Honda, an odour of alcohol was detected on his breath. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered, which resulted in a Fail being registered.
Robert Petrie, age 58 of Guelph-Eramosa Township has been charged with Over 80mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on January 11, 2013 to answer to the charge.
