(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday January 25, 2013, shortly after midnight Perth County OPP officers patrolling the Listowel downtown observed a pickup truck swerving within its lane along Wallace Ave. North in Listowel. The truck was also observed pulling onto a front lawn.
The male driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the North Perth OPP Detachment in Listowel where he refused to provide a breath sample.
Adam HAMILTON (37) of Howick Township has been charged with fail to provide a breath sample, and impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in Listowel Court on Wednesday February 27, 2013, to answer to these charges.
His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
