Timothy Renaud Added To Hall Of Shame – Trafficking, Drive While Suspended

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A 34 year old male is facing drug charges and a drive under suspension charge stemming from a traffic stop last night. Shortly after 10:00 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer stopped a Chevrolet Express cargo van that was travelling westbound on Bayfield Road near Stone School Line.

The driver was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s licence. The driver was subsequently arrested and a search was completed. That search revealed the driver to be in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, Timothy RENAUD, 34, from Goderich has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Driving While Under Suspension contrary to section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act.

He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on March 4, 2013.
