(Morris-Turnberry, ON) On March 30, 2010 members of the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU) were conducting an investigation of an individual in Morris-Turnberry who was on release from the Ontario Court of Justice – Toronto facing charges in that jurisdiction. As part of his release, the male had several conditions with which he was to abide. One of the conditions was to be inside his residence at all times. The PWEU determined that the male had departed the property early in the afternoon and while returning in a vehicle later the same day, with the assistance of the Huron County OPP, he was arrested for breaching his Recognizance of Bail.
Dennis WIHNON (28) of Morris-Turnberry has been charged with three counts of Breach Recognizance and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. He is being held in custody and will be brought before the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich for another court date on April 8, 2010. LP10079083
