(CARRICK TWP, ON) On March 2, 2013 at 6:40 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a 2 vehicle crash along Highway 9 in Carrick Township. Officers arrived to find that a Blue Ford Windstar pulled into the path of a Black Ford Windstar that was travelling along Highway 9. The driver of the Blue Windstar was found to have been drinking alcohol. 57 year old John SIMON of Carrick Township has been charged with Impaired operation, Operate over 80 milligrams, Start from stopped position – not in safety and Fail to surrender insurance card. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 8, 2013 to answer to the charges. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
