(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Thursday April 04, 2013 shortly after 3:30 a.m. the West Perth Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on St. George St. (Hwy. 23) in Mitchell.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
St. George St. ( Hwy. 23) between Francis St. to the North and Hwy 8 to the south, has been closed. The road will remain closed for an unknown length of time as traffic is being diverted around the scene. All affected school bus companies are aware of the road closure and are altering their routes accordingly.
The West Perth Fire Department will have to be contacted for details of the fire.
